Tini Riese
Tini Riese specialises in the assessment and support of neurodivergent adults, especially those on the Autism Spectrum—as well as their families, partners, and carers. She has over twenty years’ experience of working with autistic adults through working in both the NHS and charitable organisations.
Tini is actively engaged in research and her focus is to amplify the voices of autistic adults. Her dedication to promoting understanding and acceptance drives her involvement in developing and teaching modules on the neurodevelopmental master’s programme at The New School of Psychotherapy and Counselling, affiliated with Middlesex University. She is also a writer, having co-authored of a book on Autism and Bullying, and collaborated with autistic adults to develop a post-diagnostic self-reflection workbook.
She has conducted clinical assessments for neurodevelopmental disorders in the NHS for over a decade and remains dedicated to her work in public healthcare. She has developed an autism-friendly assessment, ensuring a comprehensive approach that considers the unique needs and experiences of each client she assesses. Tini understands that assessment can be exhausting, and her aim is to help the person develop a better understanding of themselves and to make practical suggestions on how to access support.
Tini Riese’s post-diagnosis approach is psychoeducational and low-intensity to help autistic adults develop strategies to manage their difficulties effectively in the long-term.
