Kate Delmar-Morgan
Kate is a Registered Nutritional Therapist (rCNHC) and Fellow of the British Association of Nutrition & Lifestyle Medicine (fBANT) with nearly 20 years of clinical experience.
She has supported individuals and families since 2006, using a Functional Medicine approach to help improve health through personalised nutrition and lifestyle support. Kate holds a First-Class BSc (Hons) in Nutritional Therapy from the University of Westminster.
Alongside her clinical work, Kate is a lecturer in children’s nutrition and mental health at the University of Worcester and a student clinic assessor at the Institute for Optimum Nutrition. She has extensive experience working with children, young people, and families affected by neurodivergence as well as adults with complex health needs. She has also completed additional training with the National Centre for Eating Disorders in disordered eating, eating disorders, and obesity.
Kate’s work is rooted in Functional Medicine, a systems-based approach that looks at the whole person rather than isolated symptoms. She focuses on identifying and addressing underlying imbalances, offering evidence-informed, practical and realistic recommendations. Where appropriate, this may include functional testing and targeted supplementation. Her approach is collaborative, calm and supportive, helping clients make sustainable changes that fit into everyday life.
Her professional interest in nutrition began through her own health journey after experiencing severe IBS while working in a high-stress environment. Discovering the impact of nutrition first-hand led her to retrain and specialise in this field. Early in her career, she worked with the Hyperactive Children’s Support Group and has continued to support neurodivergent children and their families in private practice. She also co-founded a school-focused nutrition consultancy.
Kate is fully insured and maintains up-to-date knowledge through ongoing professional development. Outside of work, she enjoys the outdoors, especially open water swimming, sailing, paddleboarding, walking — and is currently training for another triathlon.
