At the Harley Row Clinic, Dr Mashru lovest to work alongside professionals recognizing that a holistic team-based approach is vital for providing exceptional patient care. She strongly believes in considering the wider perspective of a patient’s life to include their life experiences, environment and recommends a treatment package considering lifestyle factors such as sleep, nutrition, exercise, relationships and purpose. She is proud of having naturally lower prescribing rates compared to her colleagues as a result of her patients benefiting from coaching and therapy. Having her own neurodevelopmental diagnoses as well as having relatives with diagnoses give her a unique edge in understanding the personal struggles of her patients and those of the families she works with. She also understands the value of support and can advise on where this may be sought.

Prior to her career in psychiatry, Dr Mashru worked in recruitment and enjoyed classical dance. She is also a mother to her young son who will be going into year 1 and wants to be an astronaut and then a teacher in outer space when he grows up. She loves Thai food, sings in a choir and likes spending her weekends with friends.
