New Webinar Explores Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria in ADHD

Thu - Apr 02, 2026

At Harley Row Clinic, we are committed to deepening understanding around neurodivergence and supporting individuals through every stage of their mental health journey. As part of this ongoing mission, we are pleased to announce an upcoming webinar focused on Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria (RSD) — a commonly experienced yet often misunderstood aspect of ADHD.

Delivered by our ADHD Coach, Kathryn Wheatman, this session will explore a topic that frequently arises in both clinical and coaching settings. RSD can present as intense emotional responses to perceived criticism, rejection, or the fear of letting others down, and can have a significant impact on relationships, confidence, and day-to-day wellbeing.

As a clinic, we recognise that ADHD is not simply a set of symptoms, but a complex and individual experience shaped by emotional, psychological, and lifestyle factors. Our holistic approach brings together medical, therapeutic, and coaching perspectives to support the whole person — an ethos that underpins this webinar.

Kathryn brings both professional expertise and lived experience to this topic. Following her own ADHD diagnosis, she developed a deeper understanding of emotional sensitivity and the challenges many individuals face. This insight led her to retrain as an ADHD coach, where she now supports clients in making sense of their experiences with greater clarity and self-compassion.

This webinar has been designed to provide a clear, supportive introduction to RSD, helping attendees better understand their emotional responses and how these may relate to ADHD.

In this session, attendees will gain:

  • A clearer understanding of what RSD is, and the misconceptions surrounding it
  • Insight into how RSD may present in their own lives
  • Practical, compassionate approaches to navigating emotional sensitivity

For many individuals, gaining this understanding can be a powerful and validating first step.

The webinar will take place on 16th April, with two available sessions at 12:00pm and 18:30pm, offering flexibility for attendees.

This event is open to anyone interested in ADHD, emotional wellbeing, or gaining a deeper understanding of themselves or others. It reflects Harley Row Clinic’s wider commitment to education, awareness, and accessible support within the neurodivergent community.
