Psychologist Arpita Ghosal
Dr. Arpita Ghosal is a Counselling Psychologist licensed in BACP with extensive experience across NHS CAMHS services, adult mental health teams, and neurodevelopmental care. She has worked with children, adolescents, and adults presenting with a wide range of psychological and behavioural difficulties, including ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), anxiety, depression, trauma, and early-onset psychosis.
She holds a strong academic foundation, having completed a BA in Psychology (Hons) at the University of Calcutta, an MA in Clinical Psychology in India, an M.Sc. in Cognitive & Clinical Neuroscience at Anglia Ruskin University, and is completing her PsychD in Counselling Psychology at Middlesex University.
Arpita brings both clinical and leadership expertise, with 7 years as a CQC Registered Manager in adult care services and current roles across CAMHS Neurodevelopmental Teams in leading NHS Trusts. She is experienced in assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions, and offers a warm, collaborative style that values the role of families in the therapeutic process.
